This restaurant is the second Melting Pot to be built in Charlotte and was one of the first and prime tenants in a new shopping center in the University Area of the city. Like its sister restaurant in the center city of Charlotte, it's modus operandi is unique in that the food is brought to the diner's table where it is cooked fondue-style in pots of oil or seasoned broth. Our charge was to upfit the raw shopping center space to corporate standards and provide as much seating capacity as much as possible within the available space and to the limit allowed by city zoning restrictions.
