Livingston & Haven, a solutions provider for the fluid power and motion control industries since 1947, has been headquartered in the Westinghouse Boulevard industrial corridor of south Charlotte for the last thirty years. The Company provides productivity solutions to manufacturers in the southeast through a variety of disciplines: hydraulics, automation, pneumatics, electromechanical, lubrication and connectors. They are a full-service company with manufacturing, engineering, repair service and training capabilities.

The present building houses the corporate headquarters, warehouse and manufacturing facility. The site for this project will be directly across Wilmar Boulevard from the existing building and will augment the present facilities, including a new area specifically designed for Research & Development.

Clary Architects, Inc. was selected to assist management in the design of its new corporate headquarters and expanded manufacturing and distribution plant, research and development labs and warehouse which will house sophisticated vertical silos for product and parts storage. The general contractor selected to build the facility was Concorde Construction Company.

Scope of project: 31,696 square feet of offices and 23,172 square feet of R&D, shop and warehouse.

Estimated construction cost: $5.2 million.
