Grace Christian Center was in need of additional space for their increasing programs and membership. On thirty-six acres in a developing part of the city, Phase 1 was planned as the first effort to accommodate the growth and to serve the growing community of apartments, condominiums and single-family dwellings. While the initial phase would contain an interim sanctuary to accommodate approximately 750 people, Phase 2 would provide the centerpiece of the masterplan with a permanent sanctuary to seat 2,000 people.
