INDUSTRIAL PROJECTS

Our first project for Freightliner Corporation at this geographic location was in 1989 when we designed a large addition of 113,021 square feet to the existing plant of 220,000 square feet. Since that time our firm has done virtually all the design work for this valued client to raise the present square footage to a size of approximately 485,000.

The various expansions have provided room for die storage, shipping and receiving, press areas, addition of e-coat process systems, environmental water control laboratories, modifications and enlargements to the employee cafeteria and a new electrical substation. and general storage for completed truck parts manufactured at this plant awaiting shipment to the several assembly plants located in North America. Also involved was the addition of new bridge cranes, die cart rails, press pits, complete fire protection sprinkler system and air conditioning throughout and extra high bays over the presses.

Construction cost of initial project, $7,001,000.
Subsequent work over ten years, $5,500,000
