Because of its expanding business in a growing economy, this company decided to build a new facility in a recently developed business park located on the outskirts of Greenville, South Carolina. The company's main product is related to the automotive industry and this new plant is strategically located with regard to automotive manufacturing plants in the piedmont area of South Carolina. The company is German-owned and the design was reviewed and approved with the local management as well as the corporate management in Germany.

This was a design/build project on which our firm worked closely with McDevitt-Street Bovis, the general contractor who selected our firm, from the inception of the programming and budgeting through the construction phase. The project consisted of corporate offices (9,800 SF) and manufacturing and finished product storage (43,784 SF).

Total construction cost of the project was $3,538,955.
