INDUSTRIAL PROJECTS

This project was a very large addition to an existing facility which distributes women's and children's apparel and accessories through over nine hundred retail shops scattered throughout the eastern and central parts of the United States. The initial construction of this complex was built in 1969 with several incremental additions between that first structure and the time of this project. Immediately preceding this project was the addition of an auditorium with adjacent conference and seminar rooms for quarterly meetings of the chain store managers located across the United States.

This project consisted of the complete renovation of the existing 72,000 square feet of executive and general office space as well as the sizeable expansion of the distribution center and receiving and shipping areas.

Features of this project included:
· Exterior skin of face brick and concrete masonry units over structural steel framing
· Approximately 50/50 high bay and low bay with ESFR fire protection sprinkler system
· Parking level below the distribution center accommodates parking for 250 vehicles
· New truck docks in the receiving area for ten additional trucks

Square footage: 307,474       Construction cost: $9,140,221.
