United Colors of Benetton is an upper-end perveyor of women's fashions and it wanted a presence in the SouthPark Mall of Charlotte, NC.   Clary Architects, Inc. was recommended to the client for its ability to adapt prototypical drawings prepared by the corporate office for various locations and to accommodate corporate requirements as they meshed with specific mall requirements.

The documents had to be prepared within a rigid timetable after the lease was signed in order for our client to open at the time the lease began, therefore allowing him to realize all his lease time with an open and revenue-producing shop.

Because of the success of this project and the client and architect's good relationship established during this project, design services were commissioned for a similar project to be subsequently established in The Shoppes of Charleston very soon thereafter.
